Rahm Emanuel to get out of the White House

There has been a lot of speculation over the future of Emanuel. Rahm Emanuel, the fiery White House Chief of Staff, is likely going to quit his post. Rahm Emanuel is running for Mayor of Chicago. The current mayor is finishing out his term and won’t seek reelection. The possibility was brought up the second Daley announced it, as Rahm is recognized to want the spot.

Rahm is gone now

There are plenty of rumors out there saying that Rahm Emanuel is going to run for Chicago mayor after being in his position. Nobody has heard if he is running for sure yet. It nevertheless isn’t official. Washington D.C. has put out reports implying that he will be running. The Washington Post has given its opinion on things. It expects the White House will announce what is going on fairly soon. The issue is something Obama will probably need to discuss. He will be doing a later press conference for this reason. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs confirmed that you will find personnel changes that can be discussed in a press conference at the White House soon.

Just like Daley

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley decided earlier this year not to seek reelection next year. After his current term expires, he will retire. According to the NY Times, Daley decided the time was right to get out of it all behind. Everyone thinks his retirement could be the end of a dynasty. It can be the end of the Chicago dynasty that is expected. Chicago had his father, named Daley also, as a mayor for a when. He was mayor for longer than most. The elder Daley served within the post from 1955 to 1976, and died while in office. In 1989, Daley junior was elected to be the mayor. He has been in that position since then. Except for 11 years, in the last 55 years Daley’s are charge of Chicago as mayor.

Job desired by Rahm

Rahm Emanuel is known to have wanted the job for some time. The city has been really democrat for a long time. That means Emanuel may just be the person the city needs.
